Tami and Richard, two madly in love young sailors, embark on a cruise across the Pacific to California thousands of miles away. They have no idea that they are going straight to the meeting of one of the biggest hurricanes in history. Their yacht in the clash with the element has no chance. They miraculously survive, but the boat is in ruin, and seriously injured Richard is unable to sail. Tami, unable to count on outside help, must find the strength to swim across the ocean and save a man of his life on the shattered yacht.
