"Soul and body" is a very original love story that captivates with subtlety, humor and an unusual approach to the topic of alienation. The film is most often compared to the famous "Amelia" and "Pokotu" by Agnieszka Holland, and is the first in 18 years full-length image of the esteemed Hungarian director Ildikó Enyedi.

The painting shown at many world festivals has been showered with many awards, including the Golden Bear at the 67th IFF in Berlin or the Golden Frog at Camerimage. The film was also on the so-called shortlist to OSCAR 2018 in the best foreign language category (official nominations will be announced on January 23, 2018, three days before the Polish premiere of the film).

Mária (Alexandra Borbély) starts working as a quality controller in a slaughterhouse in Budapest. She is a young girl, gifted with a genius memory, secretive and very introverted. With growing fascination, it is observed by Endre (Morcsányi Géza), financial director of the company.

Two heroes have a feeling that they can not express in the real world. They will manage it only in dreams, where they will meet under the figures of hind and deer.
