"Clowns" were hailed as one of the best Czech films of last year. This wonderful Czech comedy wins the hearts of audiences of all ages and scoops awards at subsequent festivals. In Poland it noticed by the judges Lubuskie Film Summer in Lagow, who awarded her the prize organizers. Janusz Burskiego. The scenario "Clowns" wrote Petr Jarchovsky, author of such hits as "Pupendo", "Zelary", "The breakneck speed" or "Beauty in Trouble".
In the industry there is little clowns! They know about the Oscar, Max and Victor, who once, back in the days of communism, were at the peak of popularity. Their antics were playing a lot of young and older, and a sense of humor getting a larger part of the audience. So they seemed. Unfortunately, their career collapsed as a result of idiotic argument. Men raised their pride and turned away from each other, that would have a chance for further development. For thirty years that have passed since that event, he could even fall of communism, but their conflict is still going strong. But when already in free Czech Republic, their life paths intertwine again, men are beginning to remember what it was like their lives in times of prosperity. Faced with the dilemma of whether to live poorly, but still snagging nose or re-conquer the entertainment industry, letting go of the old legacy into oblivion, opt for the latter.
However, there is a problem. For three decades, the audience had time to change. Their gags much got old like ... themselves. Health is no longer, physical fitness and coordination very limited, and the concept of what playing contemporary Czechs, heavily not on time. Well with this, however, since the heroes for the cause they are willing to sacrifice a lot? Together they manage to get the greatest sacrifices just to cause laughter to the viewers. And that the way to befall them failures, humiliating and distressing situations? It is hard, it is the price we must pay for success!
Acclaimed in the Czech Republic (8 nominations for the Golden Lions, Czech equivalent of the Oscars!) Movie Viktor Taus, in which she played the winner of the award for Best Actress at Cannes Kati Outinen, the Czech racial comedy, which is filled with warm humor and seriousness. Valued at home director jokes about the problems of old age, the cult of celebrity vices and finally with the Czechs, then soar to the attention of audiences and critics, also in Poland. After all, it is not widely known that when it comes to humor, a Pole and Czech Republic are two nephews!
