The Connection

Thriller inspired by true events, which from a French perspective shows the history described in the famous "French connector". Starring two of the most popular actors in France who earlier met on the set of the hit "infidels". Marseille, 1975 years. Ambitious Judge Pierre Michel (Jean Dujardin) gets assigned to the drug police department with the task of development of a criminal group responsible for metastasis to the US wholesale quantities of heroin. A gang of ruthless and charismatic directs Gaëtan "Tany" Zampa (Gilles Lellouche), which remains elusive for law enforcement, effectively obliterating traces and handsomely paying corrupt policemen and officials. Michel makes it a point of honor to reach Zampa and kept making his life at every turn, often acting on the fringes of the law. Gangster does not remain indebted to him, and the rivalry between the two men will lead to a series of dramatic events that will shake the whole of France.
