Jill and Joy are two ordinary girls who distinguish extraordinary happiness from other children. Maybe because they live on the picturesque Aleja Różana in a house designed by Mrs. Róża herself? One day, an orphanage is opened in the vicinity of the girls. A boy named Pekki flees from the outpost and finds shelter in Jill and Joy's gazebo. A young fugitive tells newly met friends about the sad life behind the walls of the orphanage and unpleasant director, Mrs. Minie. Jill and Joy, with the help of the Maluś family, Mrs. Róża and other residents of Aleja Różana, decide together to restore happiness in the orphanage.
